Why are your ice blocks free from dairy, gluten, and nuts?

We know how hard it can be to find treats that cater for food intolerances and still taste delicious. So we created them! Serving up ice blocks the whole family can enjoy was one of the reasons we started Frozen Sunshine.

Which flavours are dairy free?

All Frozen Sunshine ice blocks are dairy free. We don’t use any ingredients that contain milk products or traces. Holy cow!

How are they so creamy if there’s no dairy?

Because our creamy flavours are made with delicious coconut milk sourced from a dairy-free environment. We do this so we can be sure there's no traces of the milkman.

All Frozen Sunshine ice blocks contain a total sugar content between 13-20% to get the perfect balance of flavour, sweetness, and texture just right.

The natural sugars from any fruit used make up part of this percentage, with the rest added in the form of caster sugar or brown sugar or dextrose.

While healthier than most alternatives, still consider them a treat. Our fruity flavours contain 47-65 calories per serve, while the creamy flavours contain 94-156 calories per serve. They can still be enjoyed in moderation on a calorie focused diet.

Do Frozen Sunshine ice blocks contain eggs?

We keep the yolk away from you folk, and don’t process any products containing these ingredients in our facilities. All our ice blocks are free from eggs or ingredients containing any traces.

Do any of the flavours contain soy?

The chocolate we use in our Belgian Chocolate and Cookie Crumble ice blocks is top quality Belgian chocolate containing 70% cocoa solids. It’s dairy and nut free but contains the emulsifier "Soya Lecithin".

We have separate equipment for preparing the mixes containing chocolate and take care when cleaning down the moulds, but there’s a small chance traces of the allergen hang around.

That’s why other flavours are labelled with "May contain soybeans'' because we use the same moulds for all ice blocks in our range.
