3. Journey on the Mary Valley RattlerStep back in time on the Mary Valley Rattler and delve into our local history, with the railway that started before the Gympie gold rush! This challenge is more scenic than physical so it’s a perfect outing for the whole family. Grab a Frozen Sunshine iceblock from the café before you board, then sit back and reflect on how different life was in the past when it was slower but more labour intensive. The Mary Valley Rattler is a non-profit organisation that runs Wednesdays to Sundays, be sure to check their timetable. This is a great half-day activity, alternatively make it a full day and spend the other half at Lake Alford Park, home to the Gold Museum, bird park and playground. 4. TreeTop ChallengeThe newest edition to the Sunshine Coast is Australia’s largest zip line and high rope attraction, TreeTop Challenge. Your challenge is to show up, participate, conquer your fears and get your adrenaline racing. Actually, its not that complicated all you have to do is show up and the rest will happen. There are five courses to tackle with 100 epic challenges suspending in rainforest. TreeTop Challenge is located at the Big Pineapple so take a selfie in front of this Aussie icon and choose your favourite Frozen Sunshine iceblock from the Montville Coffee cafe. 5. Tewantin water & skate parkThis interactive water and skate park challenge is simple and won’t break the bank! Rock up, get wet and have a laugh, followed by some gnarly scooter or skateboard activity in the adjacent park. For lunch, head to neighbouring Noosa Marina and grab Fish and Chips and a Frozen Sunshine gourmet iceblock of course.
